Digital Recruitment
What is it?
Digital recruitment is about using digital technology and media to underpin the entire recruitment process. It can complement non-digital tools and processes. But, increasingly, it's taking their place. Done properly, it takes your message to market faster, genuinely engages your audience and speeds up applications. It offers immediate visibility and measurability. And all at a fraction of the cost of traditional channels.
Why is it important?
Soon most recruitment activity will be online. High-speed broadband access is rapidly growing, as is the availability of web-enabled smartphones and free Wi-Fi hotspots. But it’s the explosive growth of social media that’s changing the way people think about their careers. So for employers this, along with search and career websites, should be at the core of any recruitment campaign.
