Inspiring inductions
Tesco know all about making a big impression. That’s why they came to us to help develop an induction programme that wouldn’t just introduce new starters, but inspire them. We suggested that it should be concise, relevant to real life and fun. Whatever your role, a working day at Tesco is likely to be eventful and include lots of interaction with others. So the same elements needed to be injected into this programme, making it enjoyable and memorable.
The solution
We worked with Tesco to devise a new structure to the day and a fresh approach to getting important information across. This included a fully branded presentation that used video and brought the stories of Tesco employees to life. We also introduced interactive events, including team games that were both relevant to the business and fun to take part in.
The result
Managers and new staff members agree it’s a far more fun way to put across the salient points and the sessions have been very well received. In fact, the project has been so successful that Tesco are still using the tools we gave them three years after we created them.
